Renee Reichman Achosainu Program

With the lifting of the Iron Curtain in 1990, a program was initiated whereby students from Budapest, Hungary have the opportunity to experience a year or more at our school. They have a chance to be immersed in Jewish Education within a religious setting. Recently, this program has expanded to bring students from all over Eastern Europe.

Our aim is to provide a high level of education, both in Judaic as well as in secular studies, and to help the girls mature into exemplary Jewish young ladies.

Over the past 18 years we have sponsored more than 80 girls. They have been housed, educated and cared for by our dedicated staff and community. Many of them have chosen to remain in North America, furthering their studies. With our support, over 20 girls are married to B'nei Torah and we have been blessed with a number of "grandchildren" from this program.

On our "Chai" - 18th Anniversary we were honoured to add the Reichmann name to our program.
